Stone Hill Inn's exclusive Perfect Proposal Package will set the stage for romance and an unforgettable evening, as well as make this once-in-lifetime occasion stress-free. Well, almost — we can't guarantee her answer, but who wouldn't say "YES!" when you've gone out of your way to make things so special.

The Package Includes:

• Our signature Perfect Proposal Package Evening Turndown Service, with the bed strewn with silk rose petals and your choice of ring presentation
• A romantic CD to set the mood 
• Flickering candles to cast a soft glow 
• A Dozen Red Roses 
• Chocolate Dipped Strawberries 
• A disposable camera to capture the memories 
• A calling card to spread the good news!

The Details:

Step 1) Choose your dates, check availability, and make your reservations. Be sure to tell us you want to add the Perfect Proposal Package. This package is available with stays of two or more nights at the applicable seasonal room rate. Please keep in mind that 7 days' notice is required if you want the fortune cookie presentation (details below).

Step 2) Choose the presentation for the ring. On the bed, we will arrange either:

Vermont Teddy Bear Bride & Groom Bears or Hand-crafted Giant Fortune Cookies from The Fortunate Cookie, in the flavor of your choice.

The Vermont Teddy Bear Bride & Groom bear make wonderful keepsakes. The Groom Bear is presenting the ring to the Bride Bear. Both are complete with wedding formalwear.

With the fortune cookie option, you may select from 3 distinct and delicious flavors: Vermont Maple (with Vermont maple syrup, walnuts, natural flavorings...dusted with maple sugar and golden glitter), Chocolate Haze (with bittersweet and white chocolate, blended cocoas, hazelnuts, Frangelico liqueur, natural flavorings...drizzled with more bittersweet and white chocolate), or Vanzilla (with sliced almonds, premium bourbon, almond extract, and vanilla bean). Each is artfully wrapped for an impressive presentation. The fortune message and the ring are tucked inside the giant fortune cookie for her to unwrap. The fortune message can be completely customized by you.

Step 3) Arrange a pre-visit phone consultation with an innkeeper to finalize all the details. We will need to know which evening you want the Proposal Package presented, exactly when you will be out of the room allowing us to set everything up, which side of the bed she sleeps on, etc. 

Step 4) Shop for your engagement ring! You will need to arrange a time to discreetly pass the ring to an innkeeper during or after check-in.

• with Bears - lodging total plus $420.00 
• with Fortune Cookies - lodging total plus $290.00 

Deposits and Cancellations: There is quite a lot of "legwork" and advance purchasing on the innkeepers' part in putting together these particular packages. Charges for this add-on package will be charged to your credit card when reservations are made, and the add-on portion of the package (all components other than lodging) is absolutely non-refundable. Date changes are considered cancellations. As for the lodging portion of the package, our standard lodging cancellation policy applies.
